CanFix
Emergency Repair Kit
The emergency repair kit CanFix is a complete system for making temporary repairs on a wide variety of piping materials. CanFix is made of a patented fibreglass fabric impregnated with a water-activated resin that hardens in minutes without the need for measuring, mixing, or complex cleaning.
Approved and used by the US Navy and the US Coast Guard.
Application Instructions
- Release water pressure if applicable.
- Clean and roughen the surface.
- Apply the epoxy into the crack.
- Soak the CanFix tape in lukewarm water for 20 seconds.
- Wrap 5 cm (2 inches) above and below the area to be repaired.
- Press and shape.
- Allow to harden for 30 minutes.
Application Instructions
- Cut the ExoWrap Blankets to the desired size using a cutter or scissors.
- Wrap around the surface to be insulated, joining the ends to form a seal.
- Secure and seal the joint using Silhesive tape.
- To remove the ExoWrap Blanket, cut the Silhesive tape and unroll from the metal surface.
- For reinstallation, apply new Silhesive tape.
